A share is your portion of the pie, more specifically, your portion of the inflation. Remember how in Bitcoin, the inflation goes to the miners who then sell it in order to recoup their enormous mining costs? Also, remember how in the U.S. dollar the rich get richer because they benefit from inflation? Well, in HEX … you get the inflation. That’s right - YOU get the inflation. Richard Heart designed a cryptocurrency that allows anybody to benefit from and accrue inflation, essentially opting out of the Central Banks‘ enslavement system and opting into a new currency designed to give regular people the chance to become extremely wealthy. How?
In HEX, when you start a new Miner you burn your HEX and receive Shares (called "T-Shares" and “M-Shares) in return. The longer you Mine combined with the larger quantity of HEX you choose to hold, the more Shares you get. Each day at midnight UTC every single Share accrues rewards in HEX. The more Shares you have the more rewards you receive. When your Mining period ends (this can be anywhere from 1 day to 5555 days) you MINT the HEX that is owed you. In other words, you MINT the principle + the accumulated Mining rewards generated by your T-Shares over the duration of your Mining period. The more T-Shares you have, the more rewards you receive.
In traditional finance, this is called yield, or interest. So … in HEX these words are also used to describe the growth of your holdings, but it’s very important to understand where the “yield” comes from in HEX, as many can make incorrect assumptions. This seems like the most appropriate place to address the oft asked question and enormous elephant in the room:
HEX is not a Ponzi scheme. In fact, as you may now realize, the fewer Miners there are, the more inflation the few miners get. So HEX does not rely upon new users to pay the yield. HEX is just like Bitcoin but with a “proof of stake“ change that significantly improves upon the original idea of Bitcoin.
To be sure, inflation = yield. Only Miners receive inflation.
1 T-Share = 1,000 B-Shares
1 B-Share = 1,000,000 M-Shares
1 M-Share = 1,000,000 Shares
